The mission of art conservators is to preserve the legacy of the tangible, cultural artifacts of our society and civilizations past for the benefit of generations to come. Vital to the longevity of any museum collection, this task requires professionals with expert knowledge and a unique understanding of the intersection of art, chemistry, and art history.
Each quarter, Artpace's artist-in-residence program provides a two-month residency for three artists. This article, which was featured in the first print issue of Art Magazine, takes an exclusive look at the creative processes and in-progress installations of J.
